Have you been to a castle or stately home and been give a listening device telling something of the history of the building? Thanks to the ‘Go West’ project, a Rural Enterprise project run by the diocese of Worcester, we now have Listening Posts in three of the churches in our Benefice :
- St. Peter’s Martley
- St. Mary Magdalene Broadwas
- and St. Leonard’s Cotheridge.
Each post enables you to hear historical information about the church and the locality in which it is set. There are six tracks, one of which is designed for children. Why not pay a visit to one of the churches and see if there is something new for you to learn? Rev David Sherwin January 2008
