Richard
Jackman Born to a
farming father Richard qualified at Harper Adams and ran the family farm
until 1992 when it was sold. He now manages 70 colonies of bees and sells
locally at farmers markets and shops. In 1979 he built his first computer
(a Nascom 1) and it has been all down hill from then. martley.org.uk was
first registered by him in July 2000. |

Michelle
Higgins Michelle worked in the IT industry for many years, and is now teaching adults and Sixth-Formers at Worcester Sixth Form College. In terms of community activities, Michelle is a board member of Martley Web mesh and editor of The Villager magazine, which she has been involved with since its inception in 1992. Michelle is a cat owner and keen gardener and has lived in Martley for 18 years. |

John
Nicklin John Nicklin (secretary) has lived in the Martley area for over 12 years and with his wife, Linda, runs The Chandlery Guesthouse ( www.thechandlerybandb.co.uk ) opposite the church. He is involved in looking after the 40 miles of parish footpaths, being a member of The Path-or-Nones, (www.thepathornones.co.uk ) and is Parish Footpath Officer. His full time work is with Worcestershire County Council as a Community IT Tutor. |
