Heart of Martley Appeal

We need help to raise £15,000.00 for a new heating and electrical installation at Martley Pre-School.

We provide pre-school care and education for children aged two to five years, and also essential breakfast and an after school club for children aged two to thirteen years.
Without this childcare, many parents simply could not be able to go to work.

We are a valuable asset to the village offering fantastic fun, laughing and learning in a safe and caring setting.

We have a mountain to climb to achieve our goal and so we are asking YOU to donate to the cause by buying a 'Martley Heart'.

Donation forms are available at Martley Post Office, Central Stores, Martley Pre-school and available to download at www.martleypreschool.co.uk

Worcester News, The Wyre and Hereford and Worcester radio stations have all given their support in printing and telling our story.

Please help.

UPDATE.

In the cold months at the beginning of this year we were faced with a huge problem.  Our dated heating system became very temperamental.  We approached the council (our landlord) to see if there were any grants or help available.  Unfortunately they could not help us at all.  It became very evident that we would have to do something and fast, hence the Heart of Martley Appeal was set up to raise funds to replace the heating system at Martley and District Pre-School.

To date we have raised nearly £10,000.00 with generous donations including gift aid, from families and companies in Martley and beyond.  The generosity has been overwhelming and we are extremely grateful for the compassion shown for our village Pre-School.The Worcester News, Hereford and Worcester Radio and The Wyre are all supporting our appeal and regular updates are publicised thanking all who contribute.  We also have a book of hearts which is kept at the Pre-school detailing every donation.

The committee, staff and children,  sincerely thank everyone who has made a contribution to our appeal.

Donations made up to 6th May 2008
