Below is a reply from MHDC re the mess-up surrounding the application for the new housing proposal behind The Crown
Andrew Moody wrote (in response to a complaint about the comment date and lack of application info on the web):
"Dear Mr Bruen, Further to my email yesterday,
the information displayed on the web site has been updated.
The overall expiry date for consultations is set for 8th January - this is
automatically generated by the computer system and can not be altered. However,
the 3 site notices I displayed on Wednesday last week all indicate 21 days
from 23rd December, i.e. 13th January 2010.
Due to the number of technical consultation responses that I am awaiting,
however, people will have beyond this date to comment."
(the full list of docs on the web site is still deficient!)
I don't know if those in Martley who are opposing this plan have yet been
updated of this extra time to get comments in?
A question: does anyone know what grade agricultural land the site is? Ideally
a MAFF style Agricultural Land Survey would be good. Please contact nigel@berrowhill.plus.com
if you know the answer to this question.
MHDC have received notification from Marsten Developments applying
for planning
permission to build up to 80 houses on the agricultural land behind The Crown
and
Central Stores in Martley.
There are only 21 days within which to lodge a complaint (deadline is 5th
Jan). It is
vital that Martley residents let MHDC know of their opinions as soon as possible
on
this, especially as Xmas and New Year fall within this time. Don't put it
off-do it
NOW!
