Dont blame the drivers!!!
Yet again Pudford Lane was closed for 3 1/2 hrs yesterday when a lorry was stuck on Hortons Hill.The lorry was carrying a heavy load & because the the road surface is not wide enough for large vehicles he slipped on the grass & was perched precariously in the leylandii hedge. No gardening was done that day!
Isn't it about time there was a warning notice for drivers of H.G.V's to say the lane is not suitable for long and heavy vehicles?
