Martley Parish Council agreed at our recent Parish Council Meeting that we will engage the whole of Martley Village and Parish in a proper consultation about our future, particularly in view of the concerns that people may have about potential development in the centre of the Village.
The Parish Council have set up a working sub-committee of both Councillors and members of the Village to draw up a draft consultation that will then be placed at the next Parish Council meeting before going out to every household in Martley.
This will form part of our "Parish Plans" Document, which will also involve work on other issues that are of interest to us all.
This is an important step in being open and transparent, and as democratic as possible. We will need your support and we will need your ideas and opinions.
