I've been asked to seek clarification on the current date for comments on the proposed Crown development, and it has been confirmed by Mr Moody that the time for submissions will be extended to at least the end of January.

Yes,that's correct. Unfortunately the date displayed upon the web site is automatically generated by the computer software, and I understand this says the 18th. We are unable to change this.
Notwithstanding this, I am awaiting a consultation to be sent to the Environment Agency, but due to the bad weather there's been insufficient staff in the office for this to take place.
When this is sent, there will be a new date generated for the overall expiry for consultations, 21 days later. So, in effect, the date on the web site should shortly refer to a date in February.
