In response to Guy's last message, I beleive a BT cable was damaged during the recent works on Ankerdine Hill, And most people between the exchange and Martley are without telephone service at this time. From someone who is affected, BT said the lines would be back on by Wednesday of this week, but as yet I haven't seen any BT people working on Ankerdine to locate the broken cable!!!! So who knows.
